Sally Parolin

Sally I. Sawyer Parolin, age 76, formerly of Vine St., passed away August 30 at St. Joseph's Hospital after a long illness. She was a life resident of Syracuse and was a devoted homemaker, always putting her family first as a loving mother and grandmother.
Sally was the daughter of the late Robert and Ellen Sawyer and was also predeceased by her husband Louis Parolin Jr. and a brother Robert Sawyer.
Surviving are her children; three daughters Donna Bill Hughes of Liverpool, Ellen Kip Brightman of Syracuse, Janet Dan Smith of Syracuse, Two sons, Louis III Abby Parolin of Eastwood, Pio Kathleen Parolin of Cicero, two sisters, Janet Michels and Tilly Sofia both of Belleview Florida, 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be 9:30 am Wednesday at the Blessed Sacrament Church in Eastwood. Burial at Belle Isle Cemetery in Lakeland. Contributions can be made to Sjögren's Syndrome Foundation, 6707 Democracy Boulevard, Suite 325, Bethesda, MD 20817 www.sjogrens.org.
