Pauline Quinn, 82, life resident of North Syracuse, passed away Saturday, October 22nd at Upstate University Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor (Wild) Schultz and a 1958 graduate of North Syracuse High School. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Syracuse University.
Pauline retired in 1995 after 30 years as a microbiologist at SUNY Upstate. She was a former member of the Nedrow Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and was active in the Sigma Delta Tau sorority at Syracuse University. Pauline was formerly involved with the Cub Scouts in North Syracuse. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed Pastime Athletic Club in Syracuse. She was an enthusiastic S.U. Orange, NY Yankees and Green Bay Packers fan. Pauline loved cruising and games of chance.
She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 60 years, Patrick J. Quinn; their two sons, Dr. Timothy (Lucy) Quinn of Lancaster, PA and Christopher (Becky) Quinn of North Syracuse; five grandchildren: Brittney Trumble, Travis, Joseph, Ethan and Avery Quinn; a great granddaughter, June Trumble; her sister, Anne Pearce; and by several nieces and nephews.
