Richard "Pete" Piotrowski of Clay, died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Syracuse, he was a graduate of North Syracuse High School. Pete was a member of Carpenters Local #747 and retired in 1999 from C. O. Falter Construction after 40 years. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a member of Rock Lodge Hunting Club. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, boating, SU basketball and his family and friends. He was a Navy veteran. Pete is survived by his wife of 43 years, Elaine Ryder Piotrowski; three daughters, Michele Piotrowski of Mattydale, Shari Piotrowski of Brewerton and Kelli Piotrowski of Albany; one brother, John A. Piotrowski of Liverpool; grandchildren, Justin, Leah, Zen and Jake. Services will be Monday, 8:45 a.m. at Krueger Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 8229 Brewerton Road, Cicero where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated. Burial will be in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay. Calling hours will be Sunday, 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home, 2619 Brewerton Road, Rt. 11, Mattydale. Contributions may be made to ones favorite charity.
