Brian K. Potter Sr., 42, of Syracuse, died Wednesday at home. Currently employed by Sutton Realty, he was also a self-employed carpenter for more than 20 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman and always a thoughtful per-son and an uncle to every child he met. He was predeceased by his father, Reginald Potter, in 1965 and a brother, Joseph Potter, in 1988. Surviving are two sons, Brian K. Jr. and Dalton R. Potter, both of Onondaga Nation; his mother, Regina Potter of Syracuse; his wife of 25 years, the former Roberta DeGonzaque; five brothers, Jeff, Kevin and Shane Potter, all of Syracuse, Reginald Pat Potter of Parish and Daniel Potter of Liverpool; three sisters, Maureen Hemmingway of Central Square, Rochelle Wade of Tennessee and Starr Tony Bender of Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Krueger Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale.
