Frances Pucino

Frances "Frit" Pucino, 76, of Orchard Estates in Mattydale, died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Frit grew up and resided in Warners for many years before moving to Mattydale in 1989. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Phillips.
Frit was a graduate of Warners High School and attended Bryant and Stratton. She retired in 2007 after 20 years as a clerk in various retail stores in the Syracuse area including the NYS Thruway Gift Shop and Syracuse Airport Gift Shop. She was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale.
Surviving is her husband of 53 years, Anthony "Tony" Pucino; her two sons: Anthony W. Nan Pucino and James R. Pucino both of Mattydale; a sister: Jeanette Saunders of Fairmount; her two brothers: Bill Phillips of Westvale and Armond Phillips of Onondaga Hill; and her granddaughter, Julianna Pucino.
Friends may call Monday from 8:30-9:30am at Krueger Funeral Home Inc., 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. A prayer service will follow at 9:30am with Mass, 10am at St. Margaret's Church. Burial will be in Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
