Rachel Lee Cullivan

Mattydale

Rachel Lee Cullivan, 41, of Mattydale, passed away unexpectedly Sunday at home. Born in Ottawa, Canada, Rachel grew up in Coral Springs, Florida where she graduated from Taravella High School in 2000. She attended OCC and earned her master’s degree in social work from Syracuse University in 2017.

Rachel was employed at Conifer Park in Liverpool for the past few years. Previously, she worked at E.S.F. at Syracuse University for over 10 years as a secretary. Rachel loved scary movies, roller skating, cats, the beach and amusement parks. She was a communicant of St. Margaret’s Church.

Rachel was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Robert Emmet Jr. and Margaret (Rochford) Cullivan.

She is survived by her two sons, Keith Eris studying abroad in Korea and Bruce Cullivan at home; her mother, Judy McIntyre of Pulaski; four stepsisters: Laurie Roberts, Adrienne Kempston, Kris McIntyre, and Erin Thomas; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and her beloved cats, Sundae and Moonshine.

Contributions in Rachel’s memory may be made to Mattydale Junior Fire Dept., 173 E. Molloy Rd., Mattydale, NY 13211 or to St. Margaret’s Youth Group, 200 Roxboro Rd., Mattydale, NY 13211.

Friends may call on Friday from 4:00 -7:00 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, with a Service of Remembrance following at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin on Saturday, 10:00 am at St. Margaret’s Church. Following the Mass, the family will gather in the Community Room at Krueger Funeral Home and encourage friends to share their stories and memories of Rachel for a Celebration of Life.
