**Becky's family would rather you donate to Roswell Park in her memory rather than sending flowers**
Rebecca “Becky” Jean Keating, 63, of Clay, received her healing on July 14, 2023, following a long battle fighting cancer.
Becky was born in Buffalo, NY to Edward and Ruth Heintz. She lived for the last 38 years in Clay, NY and was a former Leader at Weight Watchers where she helped to coach countless people locally and internationally in their pursuit to find positive relationships with food and to lead a healthier lifestyle. Perhaps her greatest impact on the world, however, was her amazing labor of love as “Grammy” to her 7 beautiful grandchildren who she loved passionately and intensely. Both of these treasured gifts have left an immeasurable and beautiful stain on our world.
Becky was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Ruth, and an infant brother Mark.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Jack Keating III to whom she was married for 44 years. She is also survived by her sons: John (Erica) Keating IV, Colin (Robert) Keating and Mark (Niki) Keating and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Keating. She is also survived by her sister, Debra (Richard) Pretorius of Buffalo, and her 7 grandchildren and many friends.
The family will greet friends on Friday, August 18th from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 303 Kasson Road, Camillus, NY. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 12:00 Noon. Services will be live streamed on the Church's FaceBook page.
