Carol A. Reeves, 81, of Syracuse, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015. Carol was born in Chittenango and grew up in the Syracuse area where she resided for most of her life before moving to Menorah Park, Dewitt in 2013.
She was a 1951 graduate of Nottingham High School and was the daughter of the late Stanley and Madelyn (Cunningham) Fisher. Carol attended Syracuse University and enjoyed reading. She maintained a Winter home in Seminole, Florida for over 30 years with her husband, Paul, and a Summer camp on Kasoag Lake. Carol attended the Eastwood Baptist and United Baptist Churches.
Carol was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, former Syracuse Fire Department Deputy Chief Paul S. Reeves, Sr., in 2007 and by her son, Rev. Paul S. Reeves, Jr. in 1983.
Carol is survived by a son, David (Luana) Reeves of Cicero; her sister, Pauline Keville of Syracuse; two half sisters: Dawn Cornett and Penny Jemola; five grandchildren: Keith, Jeffrey (Heather), and Justin (Rebecca) Reeves, Stacia (Joe) Joyce, and Karis (Jonathan) Amadori; and her six great grandchildren: Eleanore, Kennedy, Charlotte, Damien, Camden, and Isaac.

Friends may call on Saturday from 11 am - 1 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, with a 1 pm funeral service following. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse.
