Marie Richmond

Marie E. Hall Richmond, 90, of Matty Ave in Mattydale died Saturday at St. Camillus Nursing Home. Marie was a resident of Mattydale for over 55 years and was the daughter of the late Charles and Gennie Hall.
Marie was employed as a sales clerk at W.T. Grant, Chappels and K-Mart before retiring in 1971. She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Post 3146 both in Mattydale and a member of Women of the Moose Lodge Chapter 0649 in Baldwinsville. Marie was also a former member of Mattydale/Hinsdale Senior Citizens.
Marie enjoyed going to the State Fair, music and dancing, many times with her favorite group Ruby Shooz.
She was predeceased by her husband, Fred Richmond, in 1995.
Marie is survived by her son: Charles F. Robin Richmond Sr. of Clay, eight grandchildren: Charles Jr. of CT, Michael R. of Rome, Colleen DeSalvo of Camillus, Peter DeSalvo of AZ, Paige DeSalvo of Clay, Tracy Payrot of Cicero, John Sakran of MA, eight great grandchildren, a former daughter-in-law: Laura Fleming Richmond and numerous friends.
Friends may call from 4-7 pm Thursday followed by a service at 7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale. Burial will be at 9:30am Saturday in North Syracuse Cemetery. Contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
