Martha M. Brigandi Santorelli, 77, of Rosewood Circle, North Syracuse, died Tuesday in Vero Beach, FL. A native of Syracuse and a 1947 graduate of North High School, Mrs. Santorelli resided in Mattydale before moving to North Syracuse in 1984.
She retired in 1989 after 24 years as a florist from Rao?s Mattydale Flower shop. Martha was communicant of Our Lady of Pompei Church and St. Margaret?s Church. She was a member of the St. Margaret?s Socialites and the Alter and Rosary Society. She volunteered at the St. Joseph?s Hospital Cardiac unit, the Onondaga County Health Department and the Mattydale-Hinsdale Park District.
She was predeceased by her mother and father, Josephine and Peter Brigandi. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Frank A. Santorelli, a daughter Kathleen F. Santorelli of North Syracuse, a son Frank P. Marilyn Santorelli of Cicero, two grandchildren Frank C. and Laura M. Santorelli, two sisters Marion Cornish of Fairmont and Josephine Carelli of Syracuse, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 2 to 6 pm Sunday at the Krueger Funeral Home in Mattydale. Funeral services will be 9:30 am Monday at the funeral home 2619 Brewerton Rd and 10 am in St. Margaret?s Church.
