Gary J. Scheuer

Gary J. Scheuer, 75, of Liverpool, died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Raton, NM and resided in Syracuse for over 50 years before moving to Liverpool in 2003.
He retired from the Altera Senior living in Syracuse after 15 years as a Maintenance Supervisor.
He was a war history buff and enjoyed traveling. In his youth, he was a Golden Gloves boxer.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, the former Rebecca McMillan; six children, Gary (Lori) Scheuer Jr., Nicholas (Robin) Scheuer, Carl (Judy) Scheuer all of Syracuse, Joseph (Melissa) Scheuer of Liverpool, Juanita (Carmen) Fratto of Liverpool, Darlene Scheuer of Louisiana; seven siblings Loretta Scheuer (Thomas) Mahar of Hendersonville, NC, Robert Scheuer, Ricardo (Cindy) Scheuer of North Syracuse, Sim (Fred) Neadle of Syracuse, John (Denise) Scheuer of Fulton, Fred (Maria) Scheuer of Cicero and Sophia Matrangelo of Mesa, AZ; his six grandchildren, Carmen, Rebecca and Dominick Fratto, Connor, Madison and Chase Scheuer; two Great Grand children Adrian Shelley and Elsa Beth Scheuer; several nieces and nephews.
