Margaret ?Peggy? A. Dixon Seymour, 78, formerly of West Monroe died Tuesday in Hudson Fl. She resided in West Monroe for most of life before retiring to Florida 15 years ago. She retired in the 1970?s after several years as a baker for the Penny Curtis and the former Hathaway Bakeries. Peggy was a founding member, past president and volunteered for many years as an EMT for the SOVAC Ambulance Corps. She was a member St. Michael?s RC Church in Florida and a member of the West Monroe Vol. Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. She always enjoyed singing and dancing and as a child she performed on various radio shows.
She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Seymour in 1997 and her daughter Margaret Bagley in 2004. Surviving are 2 sons Raymond Betty Seymour of Hudson, Joseph Michelle Seymour of Earlton, a sister Frances Dillenbeck of Hudson, a son-in-law Demetrius Jim Bagley of Mattydale, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 pm Friday at the Krueger Funeral Home 2619 Brewerton Rd. Mattydale followed by a memorial service at 6 pm. Contributions may be made to the Hernando & Pasco Hospice are center, 6807 Rowan Rd., New Port Richie Florida 34653.
