On Tuesday morning, December 10th, a young, beautiful soul, Carson Brian Sikora, 15, was tragically taken from his family and the community.
Carson was predeceased by his grandparents, Winifred and Chester Sikora and Wilbur Zanin Jr.
Carson is survived by his parents, Timothy and Valerie Sikora; his older brother, Austin Sikora; and his grandmother, Jeanne Zanin; along with 8 aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.
Carson was a happy, funny, beautiful, caring, smart soul. He was a sophmore and an honor student at CNS High School. Carson was due to make his confirmation on March 24th with his St. Margaret’s classmates. He was a proud member and Captain of the Mattydale Junior Fire Department and was recently elected Chief by his peers and friends. He loved playing TF2 with his friends. He would eat pizza at every meal if you let him. Carson loved making and devouring half moon cookies using his grandmother’s recipe.
What can we say? We have a million questions that will never be answered. Your family, friends and the community hope you have found your peace.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mattydale Junior Fire Dept or pick your own suicide prevention group. Maybe this will help another soul find peace without death or just be kind and reach out to someone who needs to be heard.
Please join us at the Mattydale Volunteer Fire Department Apparatus Bays on Sunday, December 15th, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm for Calling Hours. A Remembrance Service for Carson will begin at 3:00 pm where you can share your love and stories and to say goodbye until we meet again.
