Debra R. Skakal, 44, of Liverpool, passed away Monday, September 17th. A lifelong resident of Horseheads, NY, Debra moved to the Liverpool area in 2016. She loved music and spending time with her family. Debra was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Horseheads.
She was predeceased by her father, Robert Skakal, in 1993 and by several aunts and uncles including Jennifer "Cookie" Luther.
Debra is survived by her mother, Delia A. Skakal, with whom she resided her whole life; four siblings: Ricardo (Adriana) Skakal of Detroit, MI, Walter (Janet) Skakal of Horseheads, Susan (Pat) Burdick Jr. and Linda Skakal, all of Liverpool; 13 nieces and nephews; and several cousins including Dr. Alfredo Lopez.
Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 pm at the Krueger Funeral Home. A mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am Saturday at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Horseheads, NY.
