Lodjai Sotka

Lodjai M. Sotka, 95, of Boston Road in Mattydale, died Sunday at Loretto Nursing Home in Syracuse. Lodjai was a native of Little Falls and had resided in Mattydale since 1950. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Brzdenk.
Lodjai attended Utica Business School where she earned her Associates Degree in Business Administration in 1934. She was a bookkeeper at Buckley Petroleum Company for 25 years and at Drake and Mills Oil Company for three years prior to that.
She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Frank Sotka in September 1995.
Lodjai is survived by her niece, Sharon Hayford of Baldwinsville; and four nephews including: Richard Parzych of Eastwood.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home Inc., 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, NY. Services are Thursday at 10am at the funeral home followed by burial in Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse. Contributions may be made to Pace of CNY, 100 Malta Lane, North Syracuse NY 13212.
