Joseph Stith

Joseph J. Stith, 85, of Toas Ave. Mattydale, died Monday at Vivian Teal Howard Nursing Home. A native of Clinton, Ind, Mr. Stith resided in Mattydale since 1953.
He was a veteran the US Army during WWII and served in the Pacific Theater. He retired in 1988 after 25 years as a Tractor Trailer Driver with the U.S. Postal Service.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years the former Elizabeth Stirushnik Stith, two sons Daniel J. Diane Stith of Liverpool and Donald R. Stith of Mattydale.
Graveside services will be 1 pm Wednesday at the North Syracuse Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements were entrusted to Krueger Funeral Home 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale.
