Leroy "Lee" Sussman
April 15, 2005 Leroy "Lee" Sussman, 86, of Maple Lane, North Syracuse, died Friday at the V.A. Medical Center in Syracuse. A native of Newark, NJ, Mr. Sussman resided in North Syracuse for the past 50 years. Lee retired in 1990 after 30 years as the store manager of the Outdoor Store in Syracuse. He was an Army veteran of WWII and served in the Pacific Theater. He was predeceased by his daughter Janet Creaser in 1996. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, the former Ruth Wakefield; two sons, David and Craig Sussman, both of North Syracuse; three grandchildren: Christopher Fillippi, A.J. Watling and Kathryn Hutchings; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Burial will be in Onondaga Co. Veterans Memorial Park. Krueger Funeral Home, Inc.
