Erna Swift

Erna A. Swift, 91, formerly of Mattydale, died Wednesday at Community General Hospital. Erna was a native of Syracuse and had resided at 231 Brookfield Road for 54 years before moving to Greenpoint Manor in 2002. She was the daughter of Fred and Elizabeth Brewer.
Erna was employed as a clerk at Kmart for 15 years before retiring in 1982. She was a member of Salina Civic Senior Citizens and Calvary United Methodist Church in Mattydale.
She was predeceased by her Husband, Harley Swift, in 1988.
Erna is survived by her two daughters: Patricia Jack Kern of Lake Wales FL, and Linda Richard Gerber of Sevierville TN; her two sons: Dennis Wendy Swift of Tully, and David Paula Swift of Dewitt; 14 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and her two great great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 1:00-3:00pm, Sunday at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Road, Mattydale. Services are Monday, 10:00am at the funeral home followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
