Timothy Moriarty

Tim Moriarty, 64, passed away on June 6th, 2023. The son of Edward and Anne (Riley) Moriarty, he was a 1976 graduate of North Syracuse High School.  

Tim loved spending time with family and friends, playing golf, and supporting his favorite team, the Minnesota Vikings.  His ever-ready smile and kindness were gifts freely given. Tim was comfortable in all handyman arenas including renovations, cars and bikes, and always there to lend a hand. Prior to covid, he attended St. Lucy's Church in Syracuse where he especially enjoyed working at pancake breakfasts.  

He is survived by his son, Edward A. Moriarty of DeRuyter; three siblings: Ed (Colleen) Moriarty, Sharon (Jim) Hurley of Mattydale, and Mary (Royce) Burgess of Cleveland; two grandsons, Mason and Asher Moriarty; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.  

Tim is happy to be reunited with his son, Brian, his sisters, Joanne "Jake" LaCasse and Pat Moriarty, his parents and so many other special relatives and friends.
