Donald G. Town, 73, of Turtle Street in Syracuse died Monday at James Square Nursing Home. A native and life resident of Syracuse, Don was the son of the late George and Ida Town.
He worked for several years as a meat cutter for several grocers in the Syracuse area.
Don is survived by his wife of 39 years, the former Irene Smaciak; two children; two step children; his two sisters: Marion Weaver of Syracuse and Doris Fraeil of San Diego, CA; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6-7pm Thursday at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Road, Mattydale, followed by a 7pm service.
