Bonita Trop

Bonita "Bonnie" F. Trop, 71, of North Syracuse, passed away Saturday, August 25th with her family by her side. Bonnie was born August 9th, 1947 to the late Alfred and Anita Coe of North Syracuse. She was a 1965 graduate of North Syracuse High school and attended Brockport University.

Bonnie was a long time employee of New York Spine and Wellness. She was a fantastic player with various recreational softball leagues in the area and coached both softball and soccer leagues in Mattydale. Bonnie enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking and country music. She was an avid NY Yankees fan.

Surviving her is her husband of 49 years, Thomas A. Trop; daughter: Kathy Trop of North Syracuse; and son: James (Melissa) Trop of Baldwinsville; her three grandchildren: Tyler Warguleski, Cooper Trop and Olivia Trop; a sister: Sue Emmerth of CA; a niece, Yvonne Sellons; and four nephews: Mark Emmerth, Jeff Trop, Jesse Dolph, and Matthew Dolph.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons St., Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, with a Funeral Service following at 7:00 pm.
