Anthony Tucciarone, 66, peacefully passed away Friday, September 28, 2007 at his home in Monahans Texas. He was born Monday, December 16, 1940 in Syracuse, NY to Frank and Julia Fiermonte Tucciarone.
As a young man, Tony worked in his father?s bakery. He also worked at the Carrier Circle Shell for many years as a mechanic before moving to Monahans Texas in 1981, where he resumed working as a mechanic at LaBeaf?s Gulf Gas Station. He later worked in the oil fields of Texas. Tony was well known as a hard working man.
Tony?s favorite pastime was riding in bike events with his friends and family. He loved to BBQ and make pizza for the Super Bowl.
Tony is preceded in death by his father, Frank Tucciarone.
He is survived by his loving companion, Lawana Oliver, of Monahans TX; his mother, Julia Tucciarone, of Syracuse; his two sons, Anthony Tucciarone Jr., of North Syracuse, and Michael Tucciarone, of Clay; his two daughters, Patty Tucciarone of Morris Plains, NJ and Rose Famellette of Rochester; his sister, Josephine Daniels, of Camillus; and his three brothers, Sam Tucciarone, of Chittenango, Frank Tucciarone, of Fairport, and John Tucciarone, of Solvay. He is also survived by his two step-sons, Dale and Jeffrey Stout, both of Monahans TX; his two step-daughters, Connie Davis, of Amarillo and Stacie Fine, of Monahans; his 22 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
