Shirley A. Tupper, 70, of Mattydale died Friday at her home. A native of Syracuse, Mrs. Tupper resided in Mattydale for most of her life.
She retired in 1992 after 17 years as a line worker for New Process Gear. She was a member of the United Auto Workers Union Local # 624 in East Syracuse and a communicant of St. Margaret?s RC Church in Mattydale.
Shirley was predeceased by her husband James A. in 1978 and a son John in 1981. Surviving are three sons James E. and wife Suzanne Tupper of Hastings, Tim J. Tupper of Mattydale, Jeffery J. Tupper of Cicero, a brother David DeFrancis of Cicero and two grandsons Tim D. Tupper and Joshua John Tupper.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm Thursday at the Krueger Funeral Home 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral services will be 9:30 am Friday in at the funeral home and 10 am in St. Margaret?s Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
