José L. Vallejo, 87, of Liverpool, died Sunday, February 19, 2017, at St. Joseph's Hospital. A native of Leon, Guanajuato Mexico. José married his wife, Grace, on 8/27/56 in L.A., CA and moved to Syracuse in 1965. He was the owner and operator of José's Towing in Syracuse.
José is survived by his wife of 60 years, the former Grace (Doubleday); his children: Bennito Vallejo of Chicago, Alan (Mary) of Divide, CO, Richard of Liverpool, Antonio of Hastings, Robert (Kelly) of North Fort Myers, FL, and Raquel (Daryl) Kelly of Liverpool; 12 grandchildren: Garrett, Amanda, Kim, Jessie, Richard, Derek, Laura, Linda, Miranda, Jennifer, Daryn, and Kadyn; four great grandchildren: Mahara, Audrey Mae, Evalynn, and James.
Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 - 11:00 am at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale, with a funeral service following at 11:00 am. Burial will be on Monday, 11:00 am in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.
