Harold Victory

Harold T. Victory, 86, longtime resident of Mattydale, passed away peacefully Tuesday at Van Duyn Nursing Home.
He worked for City Pattern Makers for over 25 years as an industrial wood pattern maker. Harold was a semi-pro boxer and an Air Force Veteran of World War II. He was a former member of the Mattydale Volunteer Fire Department and of the VFW Post 3146.
Harold was predeceased by his wife, the former Carolyn Smith, in 1989 and his daughter-in-law, Betty Victory.
Surviving are his children: Rita Brezee, Mark Victory and Paul Virginia Victory; brother: William Rosemary Victory; as well as eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association of CNY, 441 West Kirkpatrick Street, Syracuse NY 13204.
