Deborah Ann Voelk, 59, of Mexico, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020. Born in Syracuse, Deborah grew up in Mattydale and resided in Onondaga and Oswego County in her adult years. She was a 1979 graduate of North Syracuse High School and the daughter of the late Robert and Kathryn (Ryan) Voelk.
Debbie worked for Syracuse Savings and KeyBank for over 25 years starting out as a teller and eventually becoming a loan officer. She retired in 2018 after 12 years as tractor trailer driver from National Grid. Deborah loved going to the beach and camping at Brennan’s Beach in Pulaski. She also enjoyed her animals and spending quality time with her grandchildren.
Deborah is survived by her two children, Jessica Tomb of Cleveland and Daniel Tomb of Norfolk, VA; two brothers, David Voelk of Syracuse and William Voelk of Central Square; and grandmother to Kathryn Cavaretta, Benjamin Cavaretta, and Maximus Sheer.

Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Face coverings will be required, and CDC & NYS Dept. of Health guidelines will be enforced.
