Wendy A. Cook

Wendy A. Cook, 75, of Mattydale, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025. Wendy was a native of Saranac Lake NY but was raised in Mattydale since the age of 2. She was the daughter of the late Lilahmae and Andrew “Cookie” E. Cook.

Wendy was a cashier at Bruegger's Bagels in North Syracuse and prior to that, worked at the Head Start Program as a teacher’s assistant. She had also worked at Williams Grocery and Wendy’s Restaurant, both in North Syracuse. She enjoyed her artwork, sketching, painting, reading, and singing. Wendy was an animal lover who contributed to the SPCA and Humane Association regularly. She was especially fond of her beloved cat, Muffin, who passed away. Wendy attended Malden Road Church of Christ.

Surviving are a sister, Marsha Cook, and a brother: Leslie Cook, both of Mattydale; and her good friend, Dawn Laux.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, April 28, at 11:00 AM in North Syracuse Cemetery.
