Josephine White

Josephine Reggio White, 91, formerly of 8012 Ginger Rd., Liverpool, NY died April 8th in Olathe, KS. A native of Ossining, NY Mrs. White was a 1932 graduate of Ossining High School. After living on Embargo St. in Rome, NY from 1973 to 1987, she resided in Liverpool for 18 years before moving to Kansas in 2005.
Josephine retired in 1973 after several years at Phillips Laboratories in Briarcliff, NY. From 1976 to 1987 she assisted her daughter Barbara Ballard with the operation of the Jack?N Jill Nursery School in Syracuse. She was also a member of the Christ the King Church in Liverpool.
She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years Jacob in 1980 along with her two brothers Charles and Peter Reggio. Surviving are two daughters Barbara ?Bobbie? and Gary Ballard of The Villages in FL, Carol White of Milwaukee, WI, a sister Rose DiGiacomo of Ossining, NY, a brother John Reggio of Peekskill, NY, three grandchildren Jacqueline, Melissa, Aaron and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial was in Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
