Margaret J. Wieczorek, a longtime resident of Eastwood, passed away Friday, March 3rd at her home in High Ridge, MO, at the age of 89. She was surrounded by loved ones.
Margaret was born in Monongahela, PA and grew up in Donora. She was the youngest of 11 children to the late Clarence and Stella (Dixon) Cline. She met and married her husband, Edwin Wieczorek in Charleroi, PA. They later moved to Syracuse,. After the passing of her husband of 36 years, Margaret moved to Hanover, PA to live near her son, and most recently to High Ridge, MO.
Margaret was an accountant for numerous companies for many years. Although retired, Margaret continued her accounting work along with volunteering for the East Syracuse Food Pantry and New Hope Ministries Food Pantry. She was a long time attendee of the Eastwood Baptist Church. She was full of laughter. She loved life, family, and God.
Margaret is survived by two children: Cheryl (Edward) Pochatko of McKees Rocks, PA and Dr. Curtis (Lorraine) Young of High Ridge, MO; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two 2nd great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4-7 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral Services will be held on Friday,10 am, at the funeral home with burial following in White Chapel Memory Gardens, Dewitt.
A Memorial Service will also be held 11 am Saturday at the Eureka Bible Church in Eureka, MO.
