Helen Wilson, 92, of Lind Ave in Mattydale, died Monday at Rosewood Heights Nursing Home in Syracuse. Helen was a native of Olyphant, Pennsylvania and resided in Mattydale for over 50 years. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Nellie Zadarosni.
She worked for many years as a waitress at Chappell's Glass Terrace and also at the cafeteria for Fisher Body General motors Plant. She was a member of the North Syracuse Senior Citizens and attended functions with the Mattydale-Hinsdale Seniors.
Helen was predeceased by husband, Lyle Wilson Sr., in 1993.
Surviving are her son: Lyle Wilson, Jr. of Boca Raton, FL; a brother: Michael Zadarosni of Nutley, NJ; her grandson, Matthew Lauren Wilson of FL; and two great grandchildren: Tyler and Logan.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery.
