Constance M. Winchell (Conley)

Constance (Conley) Winchell, 89, of Elderwood at Liverpool, passed away Thursday at Crouse Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Charles N. and Lillian (Finch) Conley.

Constance attended Onondaga Valley Academy and worked for many years as a manager in direct sales for House of Lloyd. She was active in many social organizations including NARVAE and the Cicero Senior Home Center. Constance was a longtime member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in North Syracuse. She was a lifelong learner who always expressed the importance of education to her family. In her 70's, Constance began her own venture as a student at Onondaga Community College.

She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Ernest E. Winchell Jr. , in 2002, three sisters, Lucille, Jayne and Sharon, and by her brother, Charles Conley.

She is survived by her three children: Tim E. (Yvonne) Winchell of Avondale, AZ, Ernest E. (Barbara) Winchell III of Wallkill, NY and Christine M. (John) Museums of Liverpool; a brother, Robert Brann of FL; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Sunday from 4 - 8 pm at Krueger Funeral Home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. Funeral Services will start at 10:00 am Monday at Luther Memorial Church. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memory Gardens, Dewitt.
