Esther Wirkes

Esther E. ?Pattie? Dineen Wirkes, 85, of Brentwood Village apartments, Liverpool, died Tuesday at the Francis House. Born in Massena, the daughter of the late Dennis Dineen and Alma Arnold Dineen. She moved to Syracuse as a young child living in this area most of her life before moving to Liverpool in 1983. She attended Central High School.
Pattie retired in 1983 after 20 years as a Sales Representative with Sears and Roebuck Co. in Syracuse and in Fayetteville Mall. She loved Music, dancing, travel and casinos. She was predeceased by her sisters Dorothy & Marian and a brother Bernard.
Surviving are her loving husband of 22 years Albert Wirkes, 5 children David and Kelley Gunther of Bridgeport, John Lautore of Cicero, John and Ivy Wirkes of Panther Lake, Rev. Steven Wirkes of Fulton, Christine and Don Angell of Syracuse, a brother Matthew Dineen 8 grandchildren Debbie, David, Kim, Michelle, Mike, Laura, Lindsey, Dustin, 5 great grandchildren Justin, Crystal, Brett, Savannah and Nicholas.
Private graveside services will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, Dewitt. Contributions may be made to the Frances House 108 Michaels Ave. Syracuse, NY 13208 or Hospice of Central New York 990 7th North Street, Liverpool, NY 13088. Arrangements were entrusted to Krueger Funeral Home, Mattydale
