Betty R. Worth, 87, of North Syracuse, died peacefully, Friday, September 15th, 2017. Betty was born to the late Homer and Harriet Potter.
Betty was a server for many years at Ma's and Pa's Restaurant and Chef Italia. She retired from the North Syracuse School District after serving as a school bus attendant for 12 years. She loved working with the children and all the transportation staff.
Betty enjoyed many types of crafts including ceramics and embroidery. She loved participating in games of chance. Her greatest joy in life was family life. Her children were a source of pride and her grandchildren were adored.
Betty was predeceased by her brothers, Ronald and Homer Potter and her sisters, Genevieve Capuano, Marion Daniels, and Dorothy Kieszkowski.
She is survived by five children: Nancy (Steve) Rose of Oswego, Joyce (Danny) Klochaney of MI, John (Betty) Worth of FL, Bernadette Thurston of Baldwinsville, and Joseph (Maureen) Worth of Clay; 11 grandchildren: Anna, David, Peter, Danette, Trisha, Keith, Sommer, Dallas, Ryan, Steven and Donovan; and by her 12 great grandchildren.
A private Graveside Service will be held at Chase Cemetery, Lysander
